Big Jim Adam & John Stilwagen have been selected by the Colorado Blues Society to represent them in Memphis for the 2011 International Blues Challenge Solo/Duo Category. There was a lot of great talent at the finals. It was a honor to be selected. Thank you Colorado Blues Society and to all those who came out and supported us. See you in Memphis!

He ain't young and pretty, He's a long way from thin, But he can really sing the blues.

Big Jim's best instrument is his rich baritone voice, which lends him an attention-grabbing authority.  His skill at storytelling, emotional singing and the honest musicianship of his acoustic guitar with that right hand thumping the bass while strumming never fails to captivate his audience.
